Dr Fong Nien Yong

Dr Fong Yong is the founder, owner, and CEO of Dental House Group, which proudly includes several trusted practices across Melbourne, including Sunbury Dentist. As a highly qualified Australian-trained Dental Surgeon and a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr Fong is passionate about delivering exceptional, patient-focused care.

Originally from Malaysia and Singapore, Dr Fong moved to Australia in 1999 to pursue his dental education at The University of Melbourne, one of Australia’s leading dental schools. Since graduating with his BDSc in 2005, he has devoted more than 20 years to serving the communities of Melbourne’s west and north. Deeply grateful for the opportunities Australia has provided, Dr Fong has always been committed to giving back to the community he now calls home.

Dr Fong has dedicated much of his career to advancing his knowledge in dental implantology. Since 2007, he has completed more than 3,000 hours of advanced training in Australia and abroad, continually refining his skills in the latest techniques and technologies. He holds a Master Clinician designation from gIDE at Loma Linda University and a Master of Oral Implantology from the California Implant Institute in partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and has undergone extensive surgical and reconstructive training, including clinical residencies with leading implantology organisations.

As the Head of Surgery at Dental House Group, Dr Fong specialises in dental implants and full-arch treatments, including All-Teeth-On-4 procedures. His expertise covers a variety of implant systems, enabling him to tailor treatment to each patient’s unique needs. To date, Dr Fong has successfully placed over 3,000 dental implants and more than 500 full-arch solutions, with patients travelling from across Australia and internationally for his care.

Dr Fong is one of only two dentists across Australia and New Zealand to be awarded the prestigious Straumann Group NeoArch Centre of Excellence designation, recognising his dedication to clinical excellence and innovative implant treatment.

For Dr Fong, the most rewarding part of his work is helping patients regain the ability to smile, speak, and eat with ease. His warm and gentle approach is at the heart of everything he does, ensuring every patient feels comfortable, supported, and confident throughout their journey.
